Responsibilities

The Business Systems Analyst will bridge the gap between IT and business operations, analyzing systems, processes, and requirements to help implement and optimize technology solutions that improve business efficiency. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather, understand, and document requirements, identify areas for improvement, and support the deployment of new software solutions. The ideal candidate combines technical skills with a strong understanding of business needs and is adept at project management and communication.

 

System Support, Maintenance, and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze system performance, user feedback, and business needs, then translate them into detailed specifications for recommended system enhancements.
  • Conduct regular audits of business systems and identify potential updates or process improvements.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to business systems.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, fostering clear communication and understanding.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to users.
  • Facilitate workshops or meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss and resolve project-related challenges.
  • Develop and maintain SOP documentation
  • Generate insights for data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors. Ensure clear communication and timely delivery of services and products.

Project Management

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, documenting functional and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to design solutions that address business requirements.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide input on system configuration and design.
  • Manage and coordinate projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Assist in the planning, design, and deployment of new solutions, ensuring alignment with system architecture.

May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of project management principles (PMP or similar certification is a plus).
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise-level software.
  • Understanding of Project Management or Agile methodology
  • Proficiency in SQL or other data querying languages.
  • Knowledge of UKG Workforce Management preferred
  • Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
